Eighth Grade Parent meeting Wed., Sept 1, at 6:30 in the library, to discuss Big Bend Trip. Picking Children up for Appointments. If your child needs to leave early for the dentist, orthodontist, or any other appointment, please send a note with your child in the morning to minimize disruption in the classroom. Contacting a teacher via e-mail about an appointment on the day of the appointment may not be read until it is too late. Your child will be sent to the front office for you to pick up. Our front office is a very busy place and minimizing the calls from 3:00 to 3:15 will help insure the safety of all children. If you need to pick up a child unexpectedly please try to call before 3:00 due to the fact children are starting to load up for the bus or getting in line for carpool. Teachers are very hard to reach by telephone at this time.
REGISTER NOW - Intersession Latchkey Sept 7-10. Join us for latchkey next intersession! We have lots of fun activities planned, including field trips. Hours are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, with late care available each day except Friday. We will not be here Monday due to the Labor Day Holiday. Check the school office or our website for program and registration forms, or call Mrs. Holsonback at 855-0092 ext.311. We MUST have at least 5 advance registrations by September 3 in order to schedule the program. If we don’t get the forms in by then, we will need to cancel for this intersession, so please, if you plan to come to intersession latchkey, get your form in now. Thank you! Silent Auction Donations: The 2010 London Fall Festival will be held on November 5th, which means we need our wonderful London parents and community to help encourage and collect fantastic items for our annual Silent Auction! It’s important that we begin this process now to ensure a super successful event for our PTO, thereby benefitting our scholars!
