London ISD will join 1,025 school districts throughout Texas to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month,

School board members are volunteers who shoulder critical responsibilities and often make difficult choices for our district, all without pay. Their goal is always focused on the future success of the children in our district. Celebrating School Board Recognition Month is one way to say thanks for all they do.

Board members serving London ISD are: Scott Frazier (board president); Gayle Neessen (vice president); Shane Torno (secretary); Carter Green; Donna Byrom; Nathan Brandley; and Andrea Trevino.

Please take a moment and tell school board members ‘thanks for caring about our children and giving so much to our community.’ Let them know we support them and that their dedicated service is recognized and truly appreciated.

The Texas Education Agency recently released School Report Cards for the 2018-2019 school year.
The School Report Card is produced annually for each Texas public school campus, and contains some information from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) as well as some information from the Accountability Rating System for Texas Public Schools and Districts.
As per Texas Education Code (TEC) Section 61.1021, school report cards must be disseminated to the parents/guardians of students on each campus within six weeks of the Texas Education Agency's notification that these reports are available.
The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures.
The information contained in the School Report Card is required by state law and is briefly described in the School Report Card Definitions (also available in Spanish). The report for each school may or may not have all the information described, because the information presented depends on whether the school is an elementary, middle, or high school.
School Report Cards can be found at this link.
