Cafeteria Information 2024-25

The cafeteria offers a hot breakfast, cereal, pastries, and breakfast bars as a meal in the morning. We also offer two hot lunches each day.  Deli sandwiches and PBJ sandwiches(Uncrustables) are also offered. Salads are available for 5th-12th grade on certain days. Refer to the menu posted on the website to help your child understand the entrée choices and sides that come with a “meal”. 

Breakfast consists of an Entrée, Fruit, Juice, and Milk. Other Entrée choices: Cereal, Bars, PBJ, etc.

Lunch consists of one Entrée choice, 2 Vegetables, Fruit, and Milk(Breadsticks and grahams are part of some meals)(refer to the menu) High School students allowed 2 fruits.  

A complete breakfast or lunch meal consists of a MINIMUM of 3 items. One of those items needs to be a fruit or a vegetable.

 

Extras/Snacks

We have fresh fruit, juices, water, yogurt, string cheese, nuts, granola bars, baked/reduced-fat chips, cookies, and ice cream, etc. These items are not part of the free/reduced price meal program. All items comply with the new federal Smart Snacks regulations. We do not limit what your children purchase. If you do not want your child to purchase extra items or snacks, or want to set limits, you may complete a form for us to flag the account at the cashier. Flag Authorization Form

 

View Your Child’s Activity Daily

You have the ability to view your child/children’s meal and extras purchases on a daily basis in Lunch Money Now. Please discuss with your children what they are allowed to purchase on a daily basis.  We do not limit what your children purchase unless you fill out a Flag Authorization Form authorizing us to do so.  The form can be located on the website.

All accounts are prepaid. 

 

Lunch Money Now

Pay meal accounts online at Lunch Money Now. You can also set up email alerts to notify you of low account balances if you create an account.

You can always pay by cash or check using the locked payment boxes in each of the offices and cafeterias.  Allow one to two business days for this payment to be applied to your child’s account.   We do not accept payments of any kind on the serving line.  They must be put in an envelope with student’s name and student ID and deposited to the locked payment boxes.  Elementary students will need to turn money into their teachers. 

No outside food or drink is allowed in the cafeteria during mealtimesexcept what an immediate family member brings or sends for their own child(ren).  All cafeteria visitors MUST check in at the front office and receive a visitor’s badge. 

The new state and federal regulations regarding foods on campus dictate that individual campus wellness plans govern the rules for each school.   As those plans are finalized by the SHAC (School Health Advisory Council), you will receive additional information.  If you are interested in serving on the School Health Advisory Council at your campus, please contact the school principal or Asst. Free/Reduced Applications

Please use the Meal App Now portal to process paper free applications.  The link can be found under the Parent navigation tab on our website.
