Mrs. Sue Lang

My name is Mrs. Sue Lang. I was born and raised in West Texas and moved to New Mexico in 2002. I recently returned to Texas in May 2014 to the Austin area and began teaching here at Hernandez Middle School in 2014. I have taught science at the middle and high school level since 1998. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and discovery and want to thank you for sharing your son or daughter with me during this time.

I received my Bachelor of Science from Angelo State University in December 1998. I hold a lifetime teaching certificate in the area of Biology and Life/Earth Sciences. I went on to further my education and received my Master of Arts in Education with Administration and Supervision  from the University of Phoenix in 2007. I am certified to teach middle school and high school science (composite) in the state of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.  I will forever strive to be a lifelong learner and continue to educate myself through various programs both district and college driven.
I am the proud mother of two children. My daughter, Krista, is 28 and married. She lives in West Texas with her husband and my grandson, Jase, who is the wonderful age of 2.  My son, Jacob, is 12 and an amazing young man and a student here at London Middle School. I am the youngest of 4, having three older brothers all living here in Texas as well. My brothers work in the area of construction with my youngest brother holding a Professional license as a Civil Engineer (graduate of Texas A& M).  I was raised in a small farming community where my family still farms cotton and has a family business in construction. I am very fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. My family values education as a priority in life. We love academics and athletics/fine arts so you are likely to see me at our athletic/fine arts events cheering our athletes on to victory/success!
