I graduated from James Madison High School in San Antonio.  I graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas where I played volleyball for the university.  I have taught in Arlington and Killeen, Texas, Plainfield, Illinois and Corpus Christi.  I have taught many different math classes that include: 7th and 8th grade math, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Intermediate Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus (basic, regular and advanced levels).

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Anthony, and we have 3 children, Julia, Madeline and Andrew.  We enjoy spending time as a familly watching and participating in a variety of sports.   My family also likes to watch (and quote) movies.

My philosphy for the classroom is: I believe that everyone can learn math.  We learn at different speeds; therefore, I do not allow or tolerate put downs of other students in my classroom.  I believe that we can all learn in a positive environment.

My overall teaching philosophy is:  It is my job to make sure the students and athletes are ready for the next level, whatever that may be.
